Installing Dashlane extension in Opera on OS X

If, like me, you use Opera as your primary browser (Chrome minus Google!), and if you also want to use Dashlane as your password manager, then you have the same problem I did:

Dashlane doesn't have an Opera extension and doesn't have a Chrome extension publicly listed. (If you're a Chrome user, you know that

This post was a good starting point, but the paths are outdated (at least for Mac)

If you're running a Mac, you can just do this from the command line:

open /Applications/Dashlane.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems/P72E3GC48.com.dashlane.DashlaneAgent.app/Contents/Extensions

See the Dashlane.crx extension? Drag that into Opera or ctrl-click and "Open With... Opera" to install it.

This is excellent Adam — thank you for posting. One question though: what happens if I do not have the Chrome extension in that folder (i.e. Dashlane.crx)? I only see one (Dashlane.safariextz)!

The odd thing is that I have the Chrome extension installed...so that file has to be somewheres...

Also, that path didn't work for me. I found my extensions here:

/Applications/Dashlane.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems/DashlaneAgent.app/Contents/Extensions

Hello,
Thanks for posting this!

The extension has been removed from this folder and can only be found on the Chrome Web Store now.

They have posted a guide on this forum: How to use Dashlane in Chromium-based browsers

Hope this helps!
