- 1 tsp sesame oil
- soy sauce/tempura sauce. not too much otherwise it will over power.
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tbsp honey
- one handful of greens
- cover leaves with water. We will reduce this so not too much.
- place ingredients in wok or stirfry pan with lid
- cover and use medium heat. Cook for 20 ish minutes.
- check to see how firm the stems are you want them fairly soft.
- increase heat. Cook uncovered until you have a light watery sauce. don't reduce too much or the honey and soy will over power everything
- turn off heat and serve.
The leaves near the ground have harmless white hairs that are not a good texture. These leafs are stiffer and thicker so they need to be cooked longer anyway.
salt+pepper+garlic+a dab of bacon grease was a fail. The pepper enhanced the bitter and it was confusing.
