"Black in AI is a place for sharing ideas, fostering collaborations and discussing initiatives 
to increase the presence of Black people in the field of Artificial Intelligence. While 
artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to solve an incredible spectrum of problems and 
challenges in our lives, our work, and our world, there is a widening disconnect between the 
people who are introducing and deploying AI-based solutions and those who set policies for when 
and how these solutions are used. We envision a thriving, end-to-end ecosystem sustainably 
allocating Black talent to the development of AI through engaging with students, researchers, 
and entrepreneurs."

"The Indigenous Protocol and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Working Group develops new conceptual and 
practical approaches to building the next generation of A.I. systems. The working group is interested 
in the following questions: From an Indigenous perspective, what should our relationship with A.I. be? 
How can Indigenous epistemologies and ontologies contribute to the global conversation regarding society 
and A.I.? How do we broaden discussions regarding the role of technology in society beyond the largely 
culturally homogeneous research labs and Silicon Valley startup culture? How do we imagine a future 
with A.I. that contributes to the flourishing of all humans and non-humans?"

"LatinX in Al (LXAI) bridges communities, academics, industry, and politicians working to further 
AI innovation and resources for LatinX individuals globally. We drive and support research, development, 
infrastructure, and mentoring programs to boost innovation and capabilities of LatinX professionals 
working in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. Artificial Intelligence has 
the potential to displace workers of marginalized population including those of Latinx origin. AI 
is already perpetuating social bias and prejudice because it lacks representation of Latinx 
professionals in the Al industry."

"Queer in AI was established by queer scientists in AI with a mission to make the AI community a 
safe and inclusive place that welcomes, supports, values, and celebrates LGBTQIA+ people. We work 
towards this aim by building a visible and resilient community of queer and allied AI scientists through 
social meetups, conference workshops and poster sessions, mentoring programs, financial support, and 
many other initiatives. Another crucial part of our mission is to raise awareness of queer and trans 
issues in the general AI community and to encourage and highlight research on and solutions to 
these problems. We will continue to make progress in uplifting and centering the voices of minoritized
queer communities, especially transgender and non-binary people and queer people of color, by 
highlighting issues that these communities face and working with them to make safer spaces for 
all LGBTQIA+ individuals."
