I make a distinction between "Chef Software maintained cookbooks" and "community cookbooks"

I'm not sure how much people actually view these as different things. "I got the cookbook from the site with the domain name that ends with 'chef.io' so it must be a cookbook from Chef Software." I'm not sure how we get this into a survey and get a realistic answer but it's something we need to include.

This is a nuanced discussion that is easy to argue for both sides. I'm very much interested in the results of this survey and worry about making sure we get this to a wide range of Chef users.
