Big list of http static server one-liners

Each of these commands will run an ad hoc http static server in your current (or specified) directory, available at http://localhost:8000. Use this power wisely.

Discussion on reddit.

Custom Arch Linux live USB

Setup

Install the dependencies for the archiso package:

(root): pacman -S make squashfs-tools libisoburn dosfstools patch lynx devtools git

I recommend archiso getting them from git, there is a package in the repositories, however, at this time of writing, it will not work with the instructions below. So, grab the most recent version from git and install it:

(user): git clone git://projects.archlinux.org/archiso.git && cd archiso

Typical Directory structure for python tests

A Typical directory structure for running tests using unittest

Ref : stackoverflow

The best solution in my opinion is to use the unittest [command line interface][1] which will add the directory to the sys.path so you don't have to (done in the TestLoader class).

For example for a directory structure like this:

new_project

├── antigravity.py

GREP Options

--max-count=number of matches before stopping search
--exclude=*.txt with -r option

Note: Lookahead and lookbehind are Perl-style regular expression elements, so you'd have to use Perl directly, or GNU grep with the -P option, which then interprets Perl regex.

grep -o pattern file.txt **shows only the matched string**
grep -bn pattern file.txt **shows row and col**
grep -v pattern file.txt **inversion**
