It's halloween and everyone's rocking a scary or a magical outfit. Sayori however, didn't have one, but she planned a prank that would change the school forever. But in order to do that, she'll need the help of the Literature club's president, Monika. "Hey Monika, can you help me with something?" she asked. Monika, unaware of the proposal's nature, agreed and asked, "sure, what kind of help do you need?"
Sayori blushed. "Well uhm... See... Since it's Halloween, I was thinking..." She looked down pointing her fingers. "... And?..." Monika tried her best not to come across too impatiently. "I want to scare my classmates!" She beams. "Real bad! Listen, I got a great idea but I would need some help. I am planning on setting up a paranormal murder case...
Monika was in a deep thought for a second until she thought of something. "Hey!, I got an idea how we can pull this off". She whispered its almost time for that "festival" which is also on time with their Halloween event, and this plan could be pulled off properly if she fakes her own death.
"It's better than the murder thing, trust me." She attested.
Intrigued by the matter, Sayori nodded and smiled. "Sounds like a plan! ...so what's the plan?"
"Well, to start off we could cordially invite people to the club."
And so it happened, Sayori invited her childhood friend into the club in a apparent "normal" fashion,
the following days it would end up as a normal club days every after school.
As the festival came closer, Sayori and Monika would do some of the preparations for the festival - in fact all they did was preparing to execute their plan. "But how do we make sure that he doesn't get any suspicions? I cannot be staying up late that often after I finally got rid of thay habit.."
"It's easy! You just need to act depressed. Really depressed" Monika said.
"How depressed?" Sayori asked.
"How would you hold a giant toblerone when you're sad?" Monika asked.
"like this" she said while hugging a pillow tightly.
"uhhh.. nevermind" And so they continued.
As Sayori left the room Monika quietly murmured.
"All according to the plan".
and the day came. The festival.
To trigger the prank, all would Sayori have to do is ignore his calls for a long time, to make him rush to her room, break the door and see her "dead".
The plan was going smoothly. Sayori had left her phone on airplane mode. Monika stopped by her house to make sure everything was going according to her plan
On the day of the festival, Monika made sure to wake up early to do the final preparations. As she arrived at Sayori's house, Sayori was waiting outside already. "You're up early I see" Monika smirks. "Anyways, I have this mannequin for you. It actually is quite heavy, do you want me to help you drag it in?" Monika asked. "Yep!" Sayori giggles. As they both drag the mannequin inside, Sayori cannot believe how realistic it looks. "Wow!" She responded in a surprised manner "That just looks like me... Apart from the being dead thing, of course! ... Who actually made this..?"
"Oh, this...? The doll? Hahaha" Monika nervously laughed
"I've got a friend who's uhm into mannequins"
Two girls stared at each other as it got to Monaka how awkward she made the situation.
"Anyway Sayori. Now it's all up to you, hope you really scare him good!" Monika grinned.
Sayori slighty worried returned her friend's smile although she couldn't help but feel something was off about her.
