And it was promptly and quietly removed by Eleanorina. [...] actions of mods of that community show that they don't care about your health https://www.reddit.com/r/carnivore/comments/bk0mw9/i_find_that_it_is_my_moral_duty_to_inform_people/

So, I found out the ZC sub a few months ago but never had success in sticking with it for more than 15 days. I have just unsubscribed because that community is somewhat toxic and too dogmatic I guess. https://www.reddit.com/r/carnivore/comments/bfobtf/i_really_want_to_make_it_work_could_you_guys_help/

They act like a cult, at least moderators. They behave irrationally to protect their diet. They block anything that goes against their belief even if it is truth or a legitimate concern. This particular subreddit seems to function more like a cult. So it's good if you need a lot of emotional support to build up your faith. [...] But for logical discussions maybe /r/carnivore [...] https://snew.notabug.io/r/zerocarb/comments/bb9fpw/im_starting_to_really_question_the_way_the_mods/

I have just come to realize that r/zerocarb mods desire to keep their community an echo chamber. [...] they ended up deleting that comment, and out of lack of consideration towards their fellow humans, failed to inform me of the deletion. https://www.reddit.com/r/carnivore/comments/9yicb0/how_do_you_moderate_this_community/

In the past https://www.reddit.com/r/carnivore was being recommended to discuss the carnivore diet however it quickly was becoming unclear whether that subreddit too will devolve into acting in the same cultish manner. As of Sept 2019 r/carnivore has authorized the moderators of r/zerocarb to moderate the sub, thereby giving power to the same group of toxic people to police content on both subreddits.
