There are 2 airports in Berlin, TXL and SXF. TXL is very close. SXF is far, but reachable by public transport.

- Ticket must be validated (stamped) before entering trains (U-Bahn, S-Bahn, RE), but can be validated on the bus.
- Usually,Zone AB is enough, but Zone ABC is needed for SXF airport.
- You can make as many transfers as needed while the ticket is valid, 1.5 hours. But you can't use the ticket for return way.
You can use the Uber App, but a regular taxi will come for you. mytaxi App is another option. You will pay in the App what the meter will show. Plenty of taxies stay outside the terminals.
SXF -- Schönefeld Airport to Joachimsthaler Str. 12, 10719 Berlin
The easiest option is to be in time for a train which does not need changes and will take you directly to the Berlin Zoologischer Garten from Schönefeld Airport as the Schönefeld train station and is about a ten-minute walk from the terminal building.

- Regional Train RE14: Bahnhof Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld to Berlin Zoologischer Garten at 6:03PM.
- S-Bahn (Overground) S9: Bahnhof Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld to Berlin Zoologischer Garten at 5:37PM, also 5:12PM, 6:12PM, 6:32PM.

TXL -- Tegel Airport to Joachimsthaler Str. 12, 10719 Berlin
- Bus 109 or X9, Ticket Zone AB.
