I have the problem of trying :q to close everything. It usually works, but takes one more keystroke than is needed. [2]



Clearly we need a vim-like alsamixer fork. [3]



Pfff. I'm starting an emacs based one, exiting is c-q c-w c-e. People familiar with alsamixer will see the logic in it. [4]
