The Numbers

2015 data

2016 data

  • I could not find official information, so I browsed through Portland Police Bureau press releases, and scanned a couple local news websites
  • at least 5 people walking have been killed
    • I don't have all their ages and genders, but at least:
      • 84 year old woman
      • 34 year old woman
      • 58 year old man
      • 10 year old boy
  • at least 10 people walking have been serious injured
    • this includes our neighbor, Brian
  • 2 people died while riding bikes
    • 17 year old boy
    • 9 year old boy
  • 4/1 portland police announce additional traffic patrols. They count 12 fatal crashes this year, up from 7 at the same time in 2015.
