First meeting, in lieu of a presentation:
- everyone shows up with a paper
- discusses why they want to attend and what they think is interesting about the paper
- develop a consensus about mission and scope
- read the paper ahead of time.
- include a quantitative discussion in your presentation.
- present.
- use the whiteboard.
- exercises!?
- just introduce a new fabrication technique, unless they have new math.
- shy away from biology; they have numbers, too.
- Discuss a paper from a faculty member here and then invite them to handle questions?
- Siavash will circulate a Doodle once the NS2 folk stabilize their lab meeting times.
