###Logging in | |
The first and most limiting step is to LOGIN to the database. For this, each person requires a user account. In order to request a user account, one must contact the DCC. The DCC will create an account and an automatic email will be sent to the user with a “User Name” and “Password” that are case-sensitive. The username is often chosen to be the user’s email. The password will need to be updated as soon as on logs in to the database.
A password needs to be at least 8 characters long and contains letters, numbers, and special characters. The updated requirements can be found under the "My Preferences" tab.

2. On the menu located on the left side of the screen, click on the “login” link.

###Consent | |
Proper written consent must be collected at each site. Consent of each participant is the responsibility of the site and must be entered in the database as soon as the candidate is registered. Candidates must have written consent in order to be registered in the CCNA database. If the family decides to withdraw from the study at any time, the date of withdrawal of consent to the study must be recorded in the database immediately.
