TDF 2015 stage10 play by play

valverde attacked on the front a couple times, then he and Contador went backwards, prob for Quintana. one of the Yates (Adam?) off the back.

at 6km, teejay off the back. then porte leading froome/quintana on the front. froome attacks, quintana isn't quite keeping up. fan offered to put water on quintana's back, he said yes. (it's a hot day)

by 5.5km, times are froome, quintana (0:19 back), tejay (0:41), contador (1:15), nibali (2:41).

by 3km, froome is up by 0:47 on quintana. fans crowding at 2.2km, leaving a tiny path, two dudes are wearing american flags as capes and running in front of him (meaning the fans can't really see that he's coming). froome throws his right hand out to swat the fans away. finally barriers at 2km. when quintana hits 2km he's 50sec down.

pierre roulon accelerates at 1km. froome digs across the line, not even celebrating until he crosses. porte catches up to Quintana, who grins (knowing he's after the bonus seconds). porte accelerates, quintana tries to chase but can't.
