Getting your FAR & DFARS report from sam.gov

Getting your FAR & DFARS report from sam.gov

I had occasion to get my company's FAR and DFARS reports from sam.gov recently, and the process was surprisingly obscure. I did a search, but all I found were videos on YouTube that were out of date; and I wasn't able to find a help article that explained what to do.

So here's a quick runthrough.

  1. Log into sam.gov

  2. The website will open your "Workspace" page. Click on the "Active" entities bubble:

  3. Click on the three vertical dots to the right. Note don't click the three vertical dots next to action, but rather the three vertical dots next to the title Expiration Date:

  4. A pop-up menu will appear. Click View Record.

  5. Click on Reps and Certs, in the left menu.

  6. Click Download Reports then FAR & DFARS.

  7. On the pop-up, click .pdf:

It will change color, and the DOWNLOAD button will be enabled.

  8. Click the DOWNLOAD button and save the file.

Depending on your webbrowser, the PDF file may open directly in the browser, or might get saved as a file.

Notes

  • If you get lost, and you can't find your "workspace" page (step 2), try logging out of sam.gov and logging back in.
