After some struggles with this tab and finally realizing the problem, I suggest renaming the string pitches on the lines of tab. The listed tuning pitches for the 5th, 4th, and 3rd strings are incorrect. I'm sure you are aware Open D tuning is DADF#AD. Therefore, with the capo on the first fret, the correct string pitches should be: D# A# D# G A# D#. With this correction, the tab fingerings sounds much much better.
