Nico - We just had senior "capstone" project wrap-up here at NAU which implemented our WMS services in Leaflet and ipyleaflet. We haven't had the project pulled into our github but I think it is up-to-date from their github site.

Leaflet demo (try Ganymede): https://www.ceias.nau.edu/capstone/projects/CS/2020/CartoCosmos-S20/#/demo
-
Ipyleaflet (install -- pip or conda): https://cartocosmos-test.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Installation.html
** note the "environment.yml" file it mentions I believe is from this githhub site: https://github.com/CartoCosmos/CartoCosmos/tree/master/jupyter
@kaitlyndlee - Kaitlyn was part of that capstone and can probably help also.
Ok thanks, I'll give it a try .

Hi Trent, did you figure why "Our USGS Mapserv not working with ipyleaflet..."?
It also doesn't with LeafletJS either. It might be something relate to the url that already contains a '?' :
https://planetarymaps.usgs.gov/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/maps/jupiter/ganymede_simp_cyl.map&service=WMS&request=GetCapabilities
... don't know.
