Donating to Civil Liberties Organizations in India
People's Union for Civil Liberties
==================================
PUCL doesn't take money from governments, foundations, political parties, corporations, etc.
It only takes money from individuals. It is organized into state chapters, which provide
donations to the national unit. However, one can also donate directly to the national,
and the details provided below are for that.
From the latest PUCL Bulletin:
"PUCL is a voluntary organisation which has only 2 full time staff at the national office
to take care of documentation and office work. As a rule, we do not take institutional
financing. Our work is largely supported by (i) membership subscription, (ii) contributions
by NC members and (iii) donations by members or well-wishers. Occasionally, we have also
sought donations for meetings like National Council or Conventions from the Trust."
You can become a member, and provide membership fees, or donate over and above that.
You can also subscribe to this monthly bulletin.
