RootMyTV firmware compatibility tables

RootMyTV compatibility

A firmware version alone is not enough to determine whether RootMyTV will work. (For example, 05.30.20 is vulnerable on M16lite but not K5Lp.) To use this document, you'll need to know what SoC your TV has. This information can be found in the Instart menu, where it's called "Chip Type".

v1 and v2 refer to the version of RootMyTV. Vuln means the last known vulnerable version. Patched means the first known patched version. SW is the software/firmware version. webOS is the webOS version. Date is the approximate release date.

Note: Engineering Firmware

Engineering (test) firmware versions are not accounted for in this table. The version number for engineering firmware is sometimes higher than subsequent production firmware. You would only have engineering firmware if you changed "NSU Mode" to "Engineering Mode" in the Instart menu.
