1) Verify the correct mailing list is in place (TR / DM)
2) Ensure the participants in the Kilkenny accord are happy that it be finalised (DM mail to list)
- with the change the 5,000€ is not a "hard limit"
3) Draft a communication to be sent to mailing list covering (DM)
- The Kilkenny Accord status and share it
- Indication that we intend to recruit a coordinator
- Expect this needs to be someone within the community - early (confidential) indications of interest can be submitted to <email>
- Request for financial pledges that would be used towards coordinator and/or workshops
- Any group may contribute but indication of 2019 finances will be helpful
- Announcement that there will be workshops in April? and Biodiversity_next
4) Identify a list of individuals who can form a "representative body" to make group decisions as things are being formalised. (DM)
Example decision: "How do this community want the €40k from GBIF to be spent in 2019"
5) send draft to people on call, and ask for agreement that it be sent to the list (DM)
6) GBIF to find out if they can collect funds and then redirect to an institution (TR)
