Hey Tod, is this still the defacto configuration? I'm creating an editor cookbook which will include a vim recipe for the Metasploit Dev. Env.

Currently, yes -- but we're angling to move to soft tabs instead of hard tabs Real Soon Now. Feel free to add today, but know that it may change in one to four weeks.
