Winooski

  • Mule Bar - Good beer bar, craft cocktails and food.
  • Misery Loves Company - Amazing low class, high class food. I recommend going for lunch. Also serves some good beer and cocktails. My favorites are the Big Red, Rough Francis and the Korean Rueben.
  • Winooski Beverage Warehouse (The Bevie) - Huge bottled/can beer and wine selection. I go here pretty much on a weekly basis.

Burlington

  • American Flatbread - My favorite restaurant in town. Really fantastic wood fired pizza and one of my favorite microbreweries in Vermont (they have ~15 of their own beers on draft). My personal favorite is the Medicine Wheel w/ Sausage. On the weekend they also do brunch flatbreads.
  • Farmhouse Tap & Grill - Tons of beers, ~25 beers on draft and a large booklet of bottled beer. Food is good as well. The parlor (the wooden door before you enter the restaurant) is good if you only want beer but they also have a limited menu as well (burgers and appetizers).
  • El Cortijo - Farm to table tacos and my favorite margaritas in town. Same owners as Farmhouse.
  • Citizen Cider - A really great cidery if you're into that. They have a bunch of different varieties both dry and sweet. They also serve a pub style menu (think hand pies, cheese plates, corn dogs and fries).
