Making Coldbrew the Moxe way

Supplies:

  1. a one-gallon jug
  2. a nut milk bag
  3. one pound of coffee, ground coarse (french-press style)

Directions:

Day one:

  1. add the ground coffee to the nut milk bag and tie the string around the opening on top
  2. add the coffee bag to the pitcher
  3. fill the jug almost all the way (you want some room so you can stir it, should be about 3 L water total)
  4. agitate the jug a bit to mix the water
  5. place jug in the fridge, periodically agitating the jug

Day two (about 24 hours after you started brewing):

  1. remove the jug from the fridge and agitate
  2. remove the coffee bag from the pitcher, letting the coffee drip out of the bag
  3. after letting the coffee drip for 15-30 seconds, put the coffee bag in a bowl to let it drip further
  4. add about a pint's worth of water to the pitcher - this will give you about 8:1 ratio (which is pretty strong)
  5. put the jug in the fridge and enjoy with ice, milk, or creamer
  6. after an hour or so of dripping, pour the coffee drained from the bag back into the jug, and clean out the bag for next batch
