Twine Labs - Data Protection Policy

This policy refers to all data collected from employees, candidates, users, customers, vendors, or other parties that provide information to Twine Labs.

Twine Labs employees must follow this policy. Contractors, consultants, partners and any other external entity are also covered. Generally, our policy refers to anyone we collaborate with or who acts on our behalf and may need access to Twine Labs data.

Data Protection Policy

As part of our operations, we obtain and process information, some of which can be used to identify individuals (personally-identifiable information, or PII.)

Our company collects this information in a transparent way and only with the full cooperation and knowledge of interested parties. Once this information is available to us, the following rules apply.

Incident Response Plan

This document offers guidance for employees or incident responders who believe they have discovered or are responding to a security incident.

Escalation

Email to panic@twinelabs.com or a message to #panic should be used to notify the security team of run-of-the mill issues. Be a good witness. Behave as if you were reporting a crime and include lots of specific details about what you have discovered.

Severity

Low and Medium Severity

Issues meeting this severity are simply suspicions or odd behaviors. They are not verified and require further investigation. There is no clear indicator that systems have tangible risk and do not require emergency response. This includes suspicious emails, outages, strange activity on a laptop.
