**Info and Rules**

Island Empires is a brand new server that was created to provide a server that had a competitive PVP environment while also promoting an empire constructing, alliance building, trade based universe.

Raiding is part of life in Island Empires, but total base destruction is frowned upon unless an enemy has constructed fortifications within your declared borders. Once a decent tribe presence has established itself on the map, we will create a map with the general breakdown and location for Nation control.

The only rules that will be enforced by anonymous mods (who are truly neutral and will not use mod powers except to respond to blatant rule breaking) are as follows:

* No killing survivors under level 15 unless provoked 
* No blocking off of the artifact caves (Standard resource caves are fine)
* Prisoners are only allowed to be kept for 1 hour before they need to be released or killed
* No barriers will be put in place to check the growth/power of a tribe that begins to obtain dominance. 
  * If you want to balance the power of this world, create alliances with the other groups and work together to bring them down
* All evidence of rule violations need to be sent to this Reddit account (and soon they can also be posted in a Steam community discussion) for action to be taken by moderators Additional settings will be added to the server at the majority request of the players
