Most eBay listings are wrong about the 7V73X specs because they are reusing the 7773X specs. Main differences:

• Base clock is 1.85GHz, the bosts remain the same at max single core boost at 3.5GHz and max all core boost at 3GHz. The turbo multipliers for different loads are probably also different.
• PPT/TDP is fixed at 225W and not 280W as many listings claim. Configuring the TDP and PPT has no effect.
• CPU is PPT limited when SMT is enabled causing frequency to be capped to ~2.7-2.8GHz.
• SMT is supported.

Storage Pool: Collection of physical drives where data will actually be written.

• Can be moved between machines as long as all drives making up a pool are attached to the new machine.
• Can be grown one drive at a time, irrespective of any storage space settings. Data can be redistributed across disks when new ones are added and new data will continue to be load balanced across all disks, again irrespective of any storage space settings.
