things i look for

This is Vamsi from Bangalore. I have around 3 years of experience at the time of writing this post. I work primarily in Ruby,
Ruby on Rails and React JS. Sometimes a bit of plain JS and Jquery too. I can debug the ELK stack applications

I do not have any leadership experience at the moment except for a brief stint where I started my own app. I want to be a senior individual contributor in the long run.

I am happy with my current job. So I am not looking out at the moment, though exceptions can be made if you offering from Singapore or Silicon Valley or Sydney.

These are the following factors I consider to be important in my workplace

1) Noiseless working environment. In order for me to concentrate on the problem at hand or to be in the "zone", I need
a distraction-free environment where I can just think of solving the problem in a better way.

2) Good hardware. I sit in front of the computer anywhere from 8 - 12 hours a day. So I need them to be good,
so that I need not worry about computer heating up or data getting lost on one fine day. Specifically, I need a MacBook Pro, a monitor, and a good mechanical or membrane keyboard

3) Good colleagues to thrive at work. If you follow "Be Nice" philosophy, we are good to go

4) Good work - I want to work on some challenging problems at scale, touching millions of people's lives

Good to have, but not necessary(Optional)

1) Nap room
2) Free food or in-house caterer/restaurant, so not much time needs to be wasted on where to go and eat every day during lunch
