Setting up a new Mac

Get the Dock organized

  • Go to Settings -> Dock -> "Hide Dock when not in use"
  • Remove unused items from dock
  • Make it more fun to use: 
    defaults write com.apple.dock orientation left

defaults write com.apple.Dock autohide-delay -float 0.05
