LMN Laser Focus Guide

Optimal focus is at (about) 74.5

For best results with material of mm thickness (thk) use:

thk	set	("Focus" value [too low])

1	75		(70.5)
2	74		(69.5)
3	73		(68.5)
4	72.5		(67.5)
5	72		(66.5)
6	71.5		(65.5)
7	71		(64.5)

Set the above "set" values as described below.

Button > Prepare > Move Axis > Move 0.1mm > Z Axes > SLOWLY turn knob to above set #

If the number jumps to 0, start over, you may need to power off and restart. If the 
number still is at 0 use Button > Laser Functions > Set Focus > 1mm then try the
instructions above.
If the table starts to move rapidly up more than expected cover the BLUE stop button
and push it if up looks out of control or if the table or whatever you have on it
looks like it will hit the head. Start over from power off and restart.



Take the "Move 0.1mm" and "SLOWLY" above seriously, there is no up limit switch 
and a 
knob twitch can send the table several increments.
