Awesome, thanks for sharing this - I'm interested in investing in strong IDE support for Ember and I'm trying to figure out which of Atom/Brackets/VSC to pursue. I keep flip-flopping, but TypeScript support in VSC could seal the deal.

@felixrieseberg is this something you would be interested in external contribution on? I have two full time co-op students that I could dedicate to these types of improvement for at least the next 6 months.
