Learn it all

Azure is vast and there is a lot of things that you as an individual need to think about as you embark on our Azure learning journey and from an organisation stand point there is a lot to think about as well. Below is some information and resources to help you on that journey.

You can sign up to an Azure Subscription with the link below. You will get $200 (US Dollars) to explore Azure for 30 days and then have access to a number of free services for 12 months.

Azure Migrate

Discovery

During this stage of your migration project you should be aiming to look at what is within your environment from a technology point of view and also looking to understand your business's objectives and long term goals.

Assessment

At this stage of the project you should be staring to use the information you gathered at the previous stage to design and plan out the migration aligning with the business objectives.

Migrate

This is the stage where all your planning comes into play, you start to move your workloads! This will be a tense period, and remember to take the chance after every workload migration to learn and improve the next workload migration.

Optimise & Manage

This is the stage of the project that will morph into your business as usual operation practices, it's the stage where you grow and learn as an organisation in the cloud and start to improve things and learn new things.
