The slightly-more-expensive-but-definitley-reliable approach:
- SmileRehab: NB: the bracketry and exact fittings can be customised but you need to speak to Smile!
- Mounts and More: They are basically selling their mini Daessy bracket and with a RAM mount back plate. Not cheap but a really rugged solution. (£354 for arm and Daessy head + £120 for case and daessy back plate).
- Inclusive - Bamboo: Similar to Smile Rehab kit (its rehadapt) - Price range due to difference in allen keys or quick release and amount of poles.(£149-£309)
- Meru - Flexzi 2: An adapted (double) Flexzi mount for an iPad. Looks nice. Extendable with more loc-line (NB: Its not Loc-line any more.. its Meru's own stuff). £72.
NB: Mounts and more are the ones selling something on a variable friction arm.
The alternative is the RAM Mount approach. This can be confusing because RAM, a US company selling mounting equipment for vehicles, is very mix and match for your own needs. However its decent stuff - and due to it being "mainstream" is fairly affordable. You just need to explore the RAM website in detail and get your head around whats needed before making a purchase!. http://www.ram-mount.co.uk In total, for a standard iPad mounting, this will cost £86 for the bracketry and a manfrotto arm/clamp: £96.
