Jolly Good Code is a boutique software consultancy that specialises in 
Agile software engineering practices and Ruby/Ruby on Rails. 

Founded in 2014, Jolly Good Code is a nimble practice that can help startups 
build the right product right, with high code quality and speed. 

At the same time time, Jolly Good Code also provides Agile consulting services 
and Ruby/Ruby on Rails training as public or corporate workshops. 

Jolly Good Code is also supporting RedDotRubyConf - an annual Ruby conference 
in Singapore that sees more than 300 attendees from all over the World.

Jolly Good Code is looking to hire a Marketing and Events Intern for 3 months 
who will work directly with Winston, the Founder of Jolly Good Code.

The ideal candidate would be able to commit to 15-20 hours per week, and he/she 
can work remotely (other than the occasional onsite meetings). 

Bonus points if he/she loves Tech startups and can do a bit of coding!

Job Details:
- Support marketing efforts for JGC's internal products, 
  including coming up with marketing strategies, designing of marketing collaterals, crafting social media content, etc
- Assist in the planning and organising of RedDotRubyConf
- Help do pre and post training workshops follow-ups
- Assist in day-to-day operational tasks of JGC
- Any other administrative tasks assigned

Requirements:
- Great communication skills and an excellent command of English
- Creative copywriting skills
- Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Meticulous
- Experience in marketing and events management is highly desirable but not essential
