Annie Wolff: Module 4 Action Plan

This is your deliverable from the Job Search Strategies I session

Module 4 Goals

I want to have recieved a job offer by the end of Module 4. I would like for this job offer to one I want to accept.

Strategy To Achieve Goals:

In order to achieve this goal, I will need to spend at least 3 hours a week (and up to 5 hours a week if possible) searching for opportunities and actively applying to them and reaching out to people at those companies.

Coding (both including your module 4 curriculum and anything outside of it):

• I will work to continue succeeding as a student at Turing by focusing on my school work

Opportunities Research:

• I will continue to watch job postings and apply to positions that are interesting and reaching out to people at those companies.
• I will be more proactive about reaching out when I see opportunities in the #job-hunt channel.

Cold Outreach/Network:

• I have spoken to alumni about thier experience networking and I consistently hear that meetups are a good place to hear about opportunities. I will attend at least three meetups in Mod4.
• I will reach out to at least tweleve more people at companies I am interested in through cold outreach emails

Personal Branding (A personal branding section is optional):

• I will update my personal website to include a section with my code.

Module Tasks:

• I will participate in three more interviews and reach out to tweleve more people beore the end of the module

Weekly Tasks:

• I will apply for at least three jobs a week.
• I will send out at least two cold outreach emails.

What I Will Work on with Meg

• I have a meeting with Meg on Thursday 3/2 to strategize about my first interview and to go over cover letters.
