SWDchallenge Febraury Challenge

I examined the number of recreational visitors to the nine California National Parks in 2017. I used a combination of charts to examine the attendance variation between parks, months, and even temperatures.

Charts created with Flourish.

First step was to look at the total number of recreational visitors at each park.

Then I looked at how the number of visitors differed per month. There were a couple of patterns that popped up.

First pattern is to how min and max visitor count per month varied at each park.

Another thing to look at was compare the visitors counts at the two most popular parks: Yosemite and Joshua Tree.

One pattern that made me chuckle was to look at the visitor count for the two parks that are set in the desert: Joshua Tree and Death Valley.
