<p class="col1">Myth #1. Dune soaring is too difficult and dangerous (flying close to the ground with strong winds, after all).
Myth #2. Dune soaring is a child's play. Serious pilots won’t find anything interesting in it.
Myth #3. There are no dunes in Russia, therefore dune soaring is not for Russian pilots.
Myth #4. Hang gliders can not take off and fly up from a flat surface, but must have either an engine, mountains or towing.

I want to show to my Russian flying friends how many of their Russian friends were actually enjoying flying on the dunes last winter. Pilots from Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Pyatigorsk, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Nalchik , - those who are well known in the Russian hang gliding community, were spending their New Year’s holidays in warm and welcoming Australia.
Here you will see Russian top pilots, national team members, who did well at the competitions and then turned right around and rejoiced at the chance to play on the dunes. You'll see how much fun it can be to fly Malibu single surface gliders!
Also you will see a novice pilot who hadn’t had any dune soaring or cross-country experience, but after half a day on the dunes learned groundhandling and flying in strong winds and even taking off from the beach!</p>

Миф 1. Полеты на дюнах — это слишком сложно и опасно (полеты близко к земле и в неслабые ветра, как никак).
Миф 2. Полеты на дюнах — это детские забавы, и серьёзным пилотам там ловить нечего.
Миф 3. В России все равно нет дюн, поэтому дюнные полеты — это не для русских пилотов.
Миф 4. Дельтаплан не может стартануть и улететь с ровной поверхности, без мотора, гор и буксировки.

Здесь вы увидите только знакомые русские лица, летающие на дюнах. Пилоты Москвы, Челябинска, Пятигорска, Екатеринбурга, Владивостока, Нальчика — все ваши знакомые, проводящие новогодние праздники в тёплой и радушной Австралии.
Вы увидите российских топ-пилотов, членов национальной сборной, прекрасно выступающих на соревнованиях и при этом радующихся возможности поиграться на дюнах. Увидите, как нескучно может летаться на простых учебно-дюнных дельтапланах Малибу!
А еще вы увидите начинающего пилота, не обладающего опытом ни дюнных, ни маршрутных полетов, которому полтора дня на дюнах хватило, чтобы научиться управлять дельтапланом в сильные ветра на земле и в воздухе и стартовать с пляжа. </p>
