Also get PSReadline if you're on PowerShell Core:
Install-Module -Name PSReadLine -AllowPrerelease -Scope CurrentUser -Force -SkipPublisherCheck
Finally, if you want to standardize your PowerShell shell to always use oh-my-posh, you need to modify your $PROFILE.
Run "notepad $PROFILE" and add these lines to the end:
Import-Module oh-my-posh
Set-PoshPrompt -Theme jandedobbeleer
Reload $PROFILE
.$PROFILE
To use the the prompt and avoid strange characters instead of the Powerline glyphs
Download Delugia Nerd Font Complete from here
Install it by right clicking then "installing for all users"
Right click on powershell window -->Properties-->Fonts tabs
Select size 14 and select "Nerd Font"
Save
Changing the VS Code Terminal Font
To use the font in the VS Code Terminal, Click Settings.
Searching for "integrated terminal font family" should bring up the setting you need to edit. Here, add your font 'Nerd Font' on the very front of the setting and save.
