Does this settings to automatically open a Finder window every time an external hard disk or storage drive is connected (volume is mounted) in MacOS Monterey (12.0.1) work for you?

It doesn't work for me. Every time I insert an external hard drive it doesn't launch a Finder window.

Not sure, I switched to Linux after Catalina so consider this outdated.
