# AI Culture Lab WIKI
## Why Are We Doing This?
We need more people that not only use AI systems for engineering and business purposes,
but critically and creatively engage with them, and possibly even subvert them
## Who Do We Want To Reach?
Phase 1: *Practicioners*in the creative coding and generative art communities
Phase 2: Citizens
Phase 3: Policy Makers
## What Do We We Practicioners To Do?
Build more and better critical and creative systems and/or art
What Prevents Practicioners From Doing This At The Moment?
+ Lack of community. Too little exchange of knowledge
+ Lack of opportunity to show their work or collaborate
+ Lack of sense of urgency
+ Fear of sharing
+ Fear of being in over their heads. Seems difficult, almost magical
## How Can We Help The Practicioners
+ Provide a community in the form of a wiki
+ The Wiki gives them opportunities to showcase their work online
+ The Wiki brings them into contact with people that they can collaborate with
+ The Wiki informs them about conferences and events that happen offline
+ The Wiki shortly explains why this is important here and now
+ The Wiki demystifies the process through best-cases and recipes
+ The Wiki encourages them to share by sharing
## Requirements (numbers indicate roadmap + priortity)
1. Wiki Engine - Tomo and Yeehaa are going look at Smallest Federated Wiki (April 1 - later deadline tbd)
2. Show Gifs, JPEG, videos, gists, possibly codepen etc. embeds. Styling is going to crucial for artists to engage
3. Visual Identity - any existing assets? budget? tomo is interested but does not know if it fits his priorities
4. Some more theoretical texts to contextualize (Chris, Tom?)
4. Integration with Offcourse for recipes (Yeehaa)
5. Some form of chat / messaging (to be researched)
5. Calendar integratiom for events
