<p>A few days after the spring rains, those fish don't stop needing to feed simply because the water is cloudy. </p>

 <p> We are the ones who must adjust and change something that we are not doing well to attract them to attract them.  </p>
 <p> So it is very simple. Regardless of other details, if you find fish while they are feeding and active, you will catch fish.  </p>
 <p> If they are inactive, you probably won't fish. Knowing when they are and when they are not active is a great key to successful fishing.  </p>
 <p> And remember this is true, wherever the bass live. </p>

It was a complete failure.

After three years of doing everything they were supposed to do, the lake collapsed.
 </p> <p>
Here's the story, and as you read, look for clues that could have prevented this disaster and perhaps prevented yours.
 </p> <p>
In southern Louisiana, there is a lake that covers approximately 26 acres. It sits on the ground, surrounded by a dike. A shallow, large-volume well fills most of the shallow lake, and other than that, the only water they get falls directly from the sky. That is more than 60 inches per year.
 </p> <p>
In the middle of the lake there are more than a hundred cypress trees.
 </p> <p>
Birds perch in those trees - a large number of migratory species, along with permanent populations of egrets and shorebirds that come and go throughout the year.
 </p> <p>
Like many similar lakes on flat land, the levee was built by excavating the perimeter of a field, so a channel runs around the perimeter, and the middle of the lake was shallow, averaging a little over three feet.
 </p> <p>
