Customize ChromeOS Crosh Terminal with Custom Fonts and Solarized Dark Theme

Customize Chromebook Chrosh Shell Environment

Requirement: Chromebook, Common Sense, Commandline Ablity, 1 hour of time

Dear developers with a spare Chromebook lets inject a little personalization into your Crosh shell with custom fonts, the solarized theme, and extra secure shell options.

Also, keep in mind that the terms Chrosh, Chrosh Window, and Secure Shell all refer to various versions and extentions built around the ChromeOS terminal. Settings that affect the ChromeOS terminal are global.

A python function utilising `ffprobe` to find any metadata related to a video file. Examples of what it can find include bitrate, fps, codec details, duration and many more. This gist returns the video height and width as an example.
#!/usr/local/bin/python3
import subprocess
import shlex
import json
# function to find the resolution of the input video file
def findVideoMetada(pathToInputVideo):
cmd = "ffprobe -v quiet -print_format json -show_streams"
args = shlex.split(cmd)
args.append(pathToInputVideo)

Updated to match latest changes to API

In Google Developer Console inside your app project, on the Credentials section, you must create a new "Service Account" "Client ID", if you have not already. And download the JSON file.

On Google Play Developer Console you have to give permissions to "YOUR_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_EMAIL@developer.gserviceaccount.com" for uploading apks.

Installation

Download Google APIs Client Library for Python (google-api-python-client): https://code.google.com/p/google-api-python-client/ or use pip:

class Logging(object):
__name__ = 'logger.info(1)'
plist = '/System/Library/Preferences/Logging/Subsystems/'
def __init__(__name__, plist, *args, **kwargs):
super(getLogger/, self).__init__()
logger.info('Input parameters:\n'
'accessibility: "{com.apple.Accessibility.plist}"\n'
#!/usr/bin/env bash

# Example of using getopt to parse command line options
# http://stackoverflow.com/a/29754866/1219634 Limitation: All the options
# starting with - have to be listed in --options/--longoptions, else getopt will
# error out. So this cannot be used in wrapper scripts for other applications
# where you plan to pass on the non-wrapper-script options to that wrapped
# application.
