Just a note: this can be simplified to add_filter( 'woocommerce_terms_is_checked_default', '__return_true' );

Just a note: this can be simplified to add_filter( 'woocommerce_terms_is_checked_default', '__return_true' );

Worked great on WordPress version 6.4.3 and WooCommerce version 8.5.2.
