DTR Memo: [Nathan Froehlich and Ann Cerveny] Number Guesser.

DTR Memo

Project:
Number Guesser

Group Member Names:
Nathan Froehlich and Ann Cerveny

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):
Learning JavaScript functionally and working together to get things done in a timely manner. We hope to earn consistent scores in the "Proficiency" section, but our goal is to make our work "Exceptional".

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here):
Both very interested in getting work done in a timely manner, truly learning and retaining the material, and feeling more than prepared for our evaluation. As "objective-analytical" and cooperative-pratical" thinkers, we both want to collaborate evenly on this project, together, and feel prepared for the JavaScript skills to come.

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:
We're both wanting to use sheer willpower to get through this project. We are well matched, with a similar work ethic, and a similar level of commitment, so we are hoping to get things done early, use the leftover time to develop our understanding, and avoid any time contraints that lead to obstacles.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):
We are both largely available to work in the mornings as well as the evenings. I (Ann) have a few days that limit my availability, but we are hoping to move along smoothly enough to where this won't be an issue.

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):
We plan on working together before and after school the next few days, but we also have Slack and our phones available int he event we need to be reached. We are open to discussing our needs as we need them.

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):
We both feel comfortable working in HTML, and we are both interested in developing our JavaScript skills.

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?): We are planning on mostly working together, as we both want to be very actively involved in the project development and the feature building. I imagine we will discuss this further as we move into the JavaScript section.

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):
We both plan on utilizing Git workflow.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:
Be honest, be kind, be direct... and be awesome.

Project management tools we will use:
We plan on using Slack and Trello to stay in touch and keep track of where we are in our project.

Day 1 Agenda: As of this evening, we are going to be working on the HTML structure, and possibly implementing some CSS functionality.
