Project: SWAPI-Box

Group Member Names: Ann Cerveny & Alek Aker

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):

A better understanding of how to work with React, and to better familiarize ourselves with Components and Testing. We are more interested in knowing whats going on conceptually that turning in something we don't understand.

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here):

We are hoping to work through this together and delegate tasks as needed.

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:

Resilience and persistence; we are both willing to put in the work to get things done, but we also need to be aware of creating boundaries with how much time we spend on one thing.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):

We both are understanding of eachothers schedules and are planning to take time during the week to accomplish our iterations and begin testing.

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):

We communicate pretty regularly, so we expect to be forthcoming about any issues we may encounter. We want to be intentional about taking time to work outside of Turing to go climbing and enjoy each others company.

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):

We both are interested and excited to work through React, learn more about how to manipulate components, and take a handle on testing.

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

We want to get as far as we can, without compromising our process of understanding.

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):

We plan to use a standard Git workflow, collaborative pull requests, and GitHub pages to stay organized and on task.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

We are both pretty laid back, so we are holding eachother accountable regarding how much time we allow each other to stay stuck, how often we are asking for help, and making sure we are not complacent in discomfort.

Project management tools we will use:

We plan to use GitHub Pages to stay on task.

Day 1 Agenda:

DTR, basic wireframing, set up GitHub Pages, clone down the repo.
