Ann, Eric, and Jon's DTR for TuneIn Later

Template for DTR Memo Project: Tune In Later

Group Member Names: Eric O'Neill, Jon O'Drobinak, Ann Cerveny

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?): Redux is the primary goal, so we're committed to trying to learn that as best we can, while also solidifying our knowledge and understanding of fetch. We'd like to also make the most of our test coverage and implement async testing.

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here): Ann: Driver/navigator works best when we've planned beforehand what we'll be tackling; otherwise, I'm better off taking some space to process and put things together Eric: Driver/navigator for async testing and Redux Jon: Driver/navigator early on

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles: Communicating effectively and taking the time understand and persevere through the material.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):

Eric: done by 7ish Jon: prefers not to come in early, but happy to stay late Ann: unavailable on Sunday after 2, but generally try to take Sundays off. Saturday day works for me. Unavailable after 5 on Thursday. Anything else is fair game.

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): We collectively feel comfortable with React and basic react testing; we'd like to expand our knowledge of Redux and async testing.

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

Split work evenly when possible. We have limited work time this week, so we are going to attempt to optimize our time together by planning ahead.

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):

We plan to use a standard workflow; create branches, add PRs, have PRs merged by someone other than the person creating the PR/ask questions and give comments when applicable.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

We appreciate and accept feedback, while being mindful of how we're giving it.

Project management tools we will use:

GitHub Projects

Day 1 Agenda:

DTR, Wireframe, Setup GitHub Repo, Setup GH Projects
