In my network, I'm fortunate to have a friend that is delightful to be around, and also works for a company that I would love to be a part of; his name is Joe, and I see him as a mentor as well as a friend. I met him in my previous career as a technical editor, and we've stayed in touch since I quit my job to start at Turing.
During Mod 1, we would get together weekly to go over foundational concepts of Javascript and programming, as well as talking about tech industry issues. However, since Mod 2 began I have been less and less able to meet during our normal meeting times. My plan is to reach out after Mod 2 is done, and make a point to connect with him during the break to go over what I've learned. Through Joe, I've made several friends in the industry, and aside from enjoying their company, it would be great to reconnect with them over intermission.
