Transcript for the trailer of A11y Savvy
The Internet has become a critical part of modern society.
It’s transformed how people learn skills, find employment , create art and even form relationships
Unless you’re a person with disabilities.
From lack of captions for videos to sites that can only be navigated using a mouse - the majority of the Web is difficult for a large segment of the population to access. When it comes to the development of sites and applications - accessibility is often ignored or seen as an after thought.
But It doesn’t have to be this way.
I'm Crystal Preston-Watson. Quality and accessibility engineer, and host of A11y Savvy. A podcast that explores how to design and develop for web accessibility. Each week I will offer suggestions and ideas that will give you the tools you need to build an accessible web for everyone.
