DTR Memo

Project: Intention Timer

Group Member Names: Lauren L, Carlyle D

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?): Develop base paired programming skills, grow in areas of perceived weakness, completing project on time according to the outline of the grading rubric.

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here): Staying calm, asking questions, utilizing resources outside of cohort, and giving/receiving constructive feedback.

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles: Maintain a growth mindset to support

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?): One day on the weekend, best time on a day to day basis (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm in class)

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?): Daily, as needed. Keep log of communication/plans in project Slack channel.

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): Lauren - Strengths: Good sense of syntax for HTML and CSS, Growth Expectations: Breaking tasks into small steps

Dougie - Strengths: CSS positioning tools and class organization Growth Expectations: Proper understanding of JavaScript

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?): Both project members will work on building the comp initially, and will assign language strengths as time progresses

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques): Both members will work on Trello board, ensuring that upon task completion, proper commits and pushes are made to Github.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: Constructive feedback given upon each goal met as well as during ‘In-Progress’ tasks and problematic roadblocks

Day 1 Agenda: Complete set-up, fill project board, begin initial comp

Additional Notes: Day 1 shorter than normal due to weather
