Hang In There Reflection
The aim of this project was to create a motivation poster generation tool to allow the user to choose from not only a
large list of randomly generated posters, but also allowing them to create their own custom poster with an image, title,
and quote of their choosing as well.
While there were no real 'disagreements' during our paired project, I made the error of doing a lot of coding without
my partner present which may have minimized the amount of learning they could do in putting some of the concepts learned
in class into practice. The issue was resolved by reviewing the code and explaining line by line what each function was
doing until he had a firm understanding of the application as a whole.
During times of technical struggle, I made it a point to reach out for assistance quickly and not allow myself to

# Intentional Timer Reflection
---
The aim of this project was to create a application that allowed the user to have a visual guide concerning their
productivity time in three separate categories. The app would accurately keep track of the time spent doing each activity,
and give the user the capability to reference previous activity periods in a list format.
Overall, the approach to working on this paired project began with both project members targeting specific fields that
they specialize in at first to give the project its initial skeleton and aesthetics, and then converging together for a

What role does empathy play in your life and how has it helped you?

At the time of this writing, I currently work for a company that serves as an umbrella for several other optical retail locations around the United States. Being in a position that directly impacts peoples quality of life requires a significant amount of empathy in ensuring the people that desire to see their in order to live their best. A persons sense of sight impacts every infinitesimal moment of their conscious day, so it requires a level of understanding and patience in knowing that if a person is struggling to see, their tensions can be understandably high. This is common in most retail positions, however it requires a deeper level of empathy as it pertains to a persons health. This helps tremendously when it comes to success in the business as a person is far less likely to maintain a level of hostility if they have a person that understands their frustration.

How does empathy help you build better software?

As noted several

Pairin Survey

What is your greatest strength and how do you know?

If I had to guess I'd say my greatest strength is a equal two-way tie between two different personality traits. The first is a persistent optimism, even when faced with potentially disheartening circumstances. I believe my ability to see the silver lining in most situations keeps both myself and potentially my team motivated to continue the fight against problems for the sake of progression rather than giving up and remaining stationary. The second would be my method of simplifying a potentially confusing issue through the use of analogies or an easier to understand example that relates to either myself or the person I'm attempting to explain to.

How do you work best?

I work best with a clear defined goal or destination in mind with ample communication from those around me concerning their progress. A secondary non-distracting stimuli, such as music, can help to break up the monotony of staring at
