Use Sourcery to Generate bash script that will rewrite your source code to add final to all classes that have no inheritance
#!/usr/bin/env bash
<% for type in types.classes { -%>
<%_ if type.modifiers.map{ $0.name }.contains("final") || type.modifiers.map{ $0.name }.contains("open") || types.based[type.name].isEmpty == false { continue } -%>
<%_ _%>git grep -lz 'class <%= type.name %>' | xargs -0 perl -i'' -pE "s/class <%= type.name %>(?=\s|:)/final class <%= type.name %>/g"
<% } %>
// Run with Sourcery on your codebase and then execute generated code via bash :)

Notes for working with Xcode VIM mode

Xcode VIM

Learning VIM in Xcode comes with its own set of challenges and limitations, but there is enough there for you to give your mousing hand a break and master the keyboard.

A limited set of commands are available in Xcode, and this document attempts help ease the learning curve of using VIM in Xcode by providing a handy reference as well as what I find works for me in practice.

NOTE: Commands are case-sensitive. A command of N means pressing shift + n on the keyboard.

This document is a work in progress! Leave a comment if you would like to see a change.

FWIW: I (@rondy) am not the creator of the content shared here, which is an excerpt from Edmond Lau's book. I simply copied and pasted it from another location and saved it as a personal note, before it gained popularity on news.ycombinator.com. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the exact origin of the original source, nor was I able to find the author's name, so I am can't provide the appropriate credits.

Newton’s method is an old numerical approximation technique that could be used to find the roots of complex polynomials and any differentiable function.
