Thanks guys, currently checking out and playing with iTerm2, Alfred, F.lux, Mou, and BetterSnapTool (one of my favorite features on Ubuntu was the drag to snap half-screen). Spotify and Sublime need no introduction, and there's a couple others that sound cool (Bartender, Fantastical) that I don't feel like paying for just yet, but may in the future.
